The Board has filed a third Legislative Rule to be introduced during the 2020 Legislative Session. The new Rule, 13CSR8, is being filed as a result of House Bill 118, which was passed during the 2019 First Extraordinary Session. This Rule, entitled Consideration of Prior Criminal Convictions in Initial Licensure Determinations, may be viewed at the link shown below. During the January 18, 2019 Board meeting, the Board unanimously voted to file a Proposed Legislative Rule to be introduced during the 2020 Legislative Session that would modify 13CSR3 to reduce OT and OTA license renewal fees. The proposed rule would reduce the OT renewal fee from $140 to $120, and the OTA renewal fee from $120 to $100.
The Board has also filed 13CSR7, a new Rule to establish procedures to implement the provisions of Senate Bill (SB)396 requiring the waiver of initial occupational licensing fees for low-income individuals and military families which was passed during the 2019 Legislative Session.
